Pastor Barbara W. Ravenell

Overseer Barbara W. Ravenell is the youngest child born to the late Mr. & Mrs. George and Lula Washington.  She was reared in the community of Pineville, South Carolina.  Pastor Ravenell was educated in the Public Schools of Berkeley County and is a graduate of St. Stephen High School. 

 She is the wife of Mr. Doe Ravenell of 38 years and they currently reside in Pineville, South Carolina.  Together, they have three children and six grandchildren.  Pastor Ravenell was chosen to do God’s work at an early age.  As she matured into adulthood, God’s purpose for her life became more vivid.  Before God called her into pastoral ship, she was a faithful member of Messiah Reformed Episcopal Church under the leadership of Rev. Lee F. Shaw and First Lady Doris Shaw.  She assisted the pastor when called upon along with assisted as a Sunday school teacher at the church. 

 Overseer Ravenell walks in the office of a prophet and God has gifted her with a healing ministry.  She has preached God’s word throughout the tri-county area of South Carolina, which includes running revivals and street ministry.  She visits and prays over the sick and counsels with those who maybe in need.  She is definitely a prayer warrior. 

 The Ministries of Truth Tabernacle Inc., which is founded by Overseer H. E. Dixon, licensed her in 2006 as an evangelist.  In August 2006, she was also one of the featured ministers to preach at the Greater Temple of Deliverance International Ministries Conference held in Petersburg, Virginia. 

 In 2007, the Lord gave her a vision to start a healing and deliverance ministry that caters to the spiritual and physical needs of all people – the Birthing of Miracles Ministries, Inc. where she is the overseer of the ministry. In 2009, the Lord laid upon her heart to launch and pastor a church by the same name of the ministry in the heart of St. Stephens, South Carolina.

 Overseer Ravenell is one who is first about her Father’s business – in spite of the many talents God has gifted her.  God has brought her through various trials, which is a platform for her ministry.  Most of all, she loves to do the work of the Lord.  Overseer Barbara W. Ravenell is a woman who is filled with God’s word, but most importantly, she is fire-baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost.
